About
I’m an independent game developer
and mobile games product manager
I love cozy games and good food. Currently I’m building a restaurant resource management game, with a focus on Korean recipes and culture. Sign up for early access here!
I quit my job to pursue my passion of developing cozy games for a casual audience. Previously I was a games product manager, specializing in turn-based card games and puzzles. I led the development of AI computer opponents in Monopoly Solitaire, launched social chat systems for Spades Mobile, and ran usability studies for game studio clientele like Epic Games and NetEase Games
I’ve always been interested in what makes an experience “fun” for specific player audiences. I graduated with my bachelor’s at MIT, where I conducted research on theme parks and social robot design with the MIT Game Lab and Personal Robotics Group. You can read the resulting papers here and here
I live in New York City. In my spare time, you can find me performing comedic improv in Chelsea and eating spicy biryani in Jackson Heights
I’m always open for a conversation. Drop me a line at sayheytoamy [at] gmail [dot] com
